The Scribenote Referral Pilot Program (the “Program”) runs from January 27, 2026 to 11:59 PM EST on March 8, 2026 (the “Program Period”).
Referrer: An existing Scribenote customer with an active Scribenote Pro Tier subscription who shares a valid referral link or code.
Referred DVM: A licensed Doctor of Veterinary Medicine who works at a different clinic than the Referrer and who does not already have a Scribenote account and signs up using the Referrer’s referral link or code.
Credits: Promotional referral rewards issued in the form of redeemable credits for patient care. Credits have no cash value.
Redeemed: The point at which a user submits a valid redemption request through their Scribenote account and the Credits are issued by the third-party issuer.
Any Scribenote customer on an active Scribenote Pro Tier subscription may refer licensed DVMs who work at a different clinic than the Referrer and who do not already have a Scribenote account. Referrals must be made using Scribenote’s designated referral link or code to qualify. Participation is subject to Scribenote’s Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, and participation in the Program does not create any agency, partnership, employment, or joint venture relationship between Scribenote and any participating customer.
When a Referred DVM subscribes to Scribenote Pro during the Program Period and their first subscription payment is successfully processed and not refunded or reversed, both the Referrer and the Referred DVM will receive $200 in Credits. Credits are promotional rewards intended to help support patient care. For clarity, Credits are offered solely in connection with software subscription referrals and are not intended to influence clinical decision-making, patient referrals, or professional judgment. Scribenote may limit the number of Credits issued per participating customer during the Program Period.
Credits must be redeemed within twelve (12) months of being earned. Once redeemed and issued, Credits must be used within the timeframe set by the third-party issuer (currently six (6) months). Credits are non-transferable, may not be sold or exchanged, and have no cash value.
Recipients are solely responsible for any applicable taxes related to the receipt or use of Credits.
Self-referrals, creation of duplicate or fake accounts, or any attempt to game or misuse the Program are prohibited and may result in disqualification from the Program and forfeiture of Credits. Referrer is prohibited from “spamming” anyone with referral invitations. Referrals must be created and distributed in a manner that is appropriate and customary.
Credits are issued and administered by a third-party provider. Scribenote’s obligation is solely limited to initiating issuance of Credits through the third-party issuer, and Scribenote is not responsible for issuer availability, card acceptance, declines, or expiration once Credits have been issued.
Scribenote reserves the right to modify, suspend, deactivate, or terminate the Program, in whole or in part, at any time and for any reason. Continued participation in the Program shall constitute consent to the modified terms of the Program. Any such changes will not affect Credits already earned prior to the effective date of the modification. Any modifications of the Referral Terms will be posted on our website, and continued participation in the Referral Program shall constitute consent to the modified Referral Terms. Any capitalized term used herein but not defined shall have the meaning given to it in our Terms of Service.Scribenote may suspend or terminate a user’s participation in the Program if the user violates the Program terms, the Scribenote Terms of Service or Privacy Policy, or engages in conduct that Scribenote determines, in its sole discretion, is inconsistent with the spirit or purpose of the Program.
All decisions regarding eligibility, reward issuance, and interpretation of the Program terms are made by Scribenote and are final.
The Program is governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to any conflict of law provisions. The Program is void where prohibited by law and is intended only for Referrer’s located in jurisdictions where such referral incentives are permitted.
Scribenote is not liable to Referrer or a Referred DVM any for any business, financial or economic loss or for any consequential or indirect loss such as loss of reputation, lost bargain, lost profit, loss of anticipated savings or loss of opportunity arising as a result of any services Scribenote provide in relation to the Program (whether suffered or incurred as a result of our negligence or otherwise), except in the case of fraud or willful misconduct.
Referrers agree to indemnify, defend, and hold Scribenote and its representatives and agents harmless from and against any and all third party claims, demands, liabilities, costs, or expenses, including legal fees and costs, arising from, or related to any breach by the Referrer of any of the Program terms or any violation by the Referrer of applicable law.
If any provisions in these terms are held to be invalid, void, or unenforceable, such provision (or the part of it that is making it invalid, void, or unenforceable) will be struck and will not affect the validity of and enforceability of the remaining provisions. The Program constitutes the entire agreement between Referrer and Scribenote concerning Referrers’ use of the Program. The failure of Scribenote to exercise or enforce any right or provision of the Program shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision. If any provision of these Program terms is found by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, the parties nevertheless agree that the court should endeavor to give effect to the parties’ intentions as reflected in the provision, and the other provisions of these Program terms remain in full force and effect.
